There was a fight on pit row after the NH truck race:
09/15/2008
I didn’t hear about it until yesterday:
Seems David Starr,Todd Bodine plus the crews and owners got into quite a scuffle. Tempers and fists were flying. Both teams were seen going into the haulers with lots of NH State police following. Tuesday is penalty day. There are some good videos on you tube. To be continued…
Me, I had a quite Sunday: talked on the phone a bit in the morning. I headed to yoga class, got the plants in the ground and then I stopped and watched the cup race. I am not a fan of fuel mileage races. I had Jimmy Johnson and Chad Knaus on the scanner for the race. I just love Chad, Mr. calm, cool and collected: He has a great smile and a he’s not just a pretty face. He knows his race cars. Biffle, Johnson, Edwards, Burton, Jr. and Busch took the top 5 spots. Robby was way down the list again: 26th place. That leaves him in 35th in owner points and dropping quickly: he will get into Dover on points but the rest of the races are questionable.
I headed out to the park with Saba, he needed a good run: We didn’t go Friday or Saturday because of the weather. I noticed on the way to supper the TXDOT signs were flashing: Do Not got to Houston or Beaumont, There is no Fuel. I heard there was fuel price gouging along I-10 and the damage in Houston on the highways is extensive. I did see a bunch of FEMA and Military folks getting supper here in Austin: one mentioned he had been at work since 4:00 a.m. and it was after 8:00 p.m. when I was there. He sure looked hungry. I thanked them for what they were doing: Ike has made a mess of South East Texas.
