Banks, astrologers and tempers.
09/17/2008

The banking system is falling on its head:

Gee, all those risky loans, giant bonuses and bad deals are finally hitting the balance sheets world wide. It’s a shame the US taxpayers are going to have to bail those scoundrels out. It’s going to cost you and me a bundle of money.

South East TX and Galveston are still without power, water and electric. Crews are on their way, but the recovery will be slow. SMcK went back home yesterday. She does have the necessities, but I am a bit worried about her.

I booked an appointment with my favorite astrologer for the weekend. I need to get some direction and some good talking time with my friend Kramer http://astrofish.net/ I checked the job boards and there wasn’t much out there. I could go from icky to major icky, I will skip that application. I don’t need any more stress at work. I had a chat with one of the supervisors about a closed vs. open case. It’s a communication and process thing. I thought if it’s marked closed it’s closed and if it is still open, then it shouldn’t be marked closed. I guess it caused additional confusion for a meeting.

I wonder if it’s just me: I was wondering if I am the only one that has had a problem. I checked with someone else, they are not having the same problem. Hum… Could it be just my perception?
