The current one just shuts off with no warning.
I am backing up the files, saving my photos and will figure out how to get my data from one to the other once I get a new one. It’s been a while since I upgraded my technology, it’s time. I hope I can get it before race weekend at TMS.
Work has been interesting this week. I received the response memo from HR on Monday and I feel like I won a round. It wasn’t flattering towards me, but it sure will help me if I want to take this further. I have been reading policy’s, reading memos and thinking about what my next move will be. Supervisor was out for a couple of days and that was nice break.
Policy violations are almost comical: I have been telling my Sgt. about all the chain of command issues that I violate. Wednsday was busy with them. I had a Lt. call me directly with a questions yesterday, it took a bit of research. I called him back with what he needed. I told my Lt. there was a strange case working and he needed to check with the Sgt. I emailed part of a report to the person who wrote it, they are going to court on Monday and wanted to review it. I was asked to lock a report for another unit. A Sgt. called me because I have access to do that function on an emergency basis; I was told it was an emergency so I did it.
I hope all this scrutiny over my job stops soon, I am tired of documenting. It’s getting old.
