Robby, 4th in trucks, 39th (OoR) for Busch and 12th in Cup.

It was a triple header weekend. I didn’t get to see the truck race nor the Busch race, but did head to the bar to watch the Cup race. I love the short tracks under the lights.
It is a question that will go on for years, did Robby intentionally spin Dale Jarrett out on lap 374? I don’t think so, looked like racing to me. Dale ended up taking Tony Stewart, Jeff Green and a bunch of others out with him. I think it took Dale out of the Chase. On the TV broadcast, they were saying race control indicated one more bump and Robby was getting parked. I don’t see why. It is a short track, they were showing others that were bumping and passing but, I guess Robby is just out of favor with the officials. Could it be Tony’s folks were complaining?
Oh what about the other Gordon yesterday? He got black flagged and is whining big time about having a drive through penalty for not starting at the tail end of the lead lap for the lucky dog. He is saying other drivers waived him past, Yah right, all 12 of them, sure Jeff. Guess it just cost you a run for the championship. They did warn you a couple of times, should have listened.
Since we had Sunday race free, Saba and I headed down to Canyon Lake for the day. I woke up, started to do the chores and decided they could wait. Saba and I headed South, we watched the road signs for the lake and ended up a different beach then we normally go to. It was fine, they allow dogs so who cares! We lounged in the sand, did a bit of swimming and generally just enjoyed the day. I am a little sun burned, a lot relaxed and ready to start the week.
