Gosh what do you mean your out of cars?

I am glad I took a few minuets yesterday to reserve a car for my little trip to Phoenix at the end of October. I called 3 companies and they are fully booked for the NASCAR weekend. I managed to get a reservation, not the best deal but, I have a car reserved.
I could see myself walking down to the front desk at the hotel around 5:00 am asking if I could grab a ride with one of the teams. That would get me to the track way too early, I like to get to the race early but not THAT early. Gosh, not having brother there is turning out to be a little expensive. He had a car last year so I only had to take a shuttle to the hotel then we split the hotel bill. I still wish I could find someone to go with me, but that is not looking good.
Speaking about finding someone, I pulled down the personal ad I had on line, I spent a bunch of time Sunday updating it, taking a few photos and trying to find the perfect profile. I decided yesterday morning I was just wasting my time. I have met a few prospects doing the on-line thing but It has been a major disappointment and a huge waste of time. I am just giving up on that whole on-line avenue. I don’t think a short bio and a photo is enough to know about anyone. I have surfed hundreds of ads, contacted a few men, had a few dates but nothing I would call fun. My thought currently is I will have to find a date the old fashioned way, through friends and family. (Your help is needed here! yes, you are considered friends!)
Plans for today: Work, lunch (!) and police academy tonight.
