Three syllables. That’s what Jimmy said tonight. I got to see Jimmy LaFave and George Devore tonight. I actually saw Jimmy and got to waive to George and the band tonight. I got to see George and them at the Reggie fest last weekend so I thought I was Ok to skip out a little early.
I headed out early because I have a 6 am alarm that is about to ring. I wanted to have a little fun after work and headed out to the Saxon pub for the first and second sets. Oh, Jimmy he just makes me feel like a woman. He has a voice that just touches my inner side. I don’t know about that man but oh baby….
I am listening to George on the radio, KGSR 107.1 as I type this Kevin O'conner is broadcasting from the club. I am searching for one of Jimmy’s CD to put in the player to sing me to sleep. Dam, I just can’t find one. Perhaps flowers will substitute for now.The CD's must be in the car. Perhaps I will listen to it during the drive in the am. I am going to send MOM to the show when he gets to CT. I think that will be nice for her. I don’t know what the set list will be, it is a Woody tribute but with that voice, who cares?
Gerr, off to dream land and a full day tomorrow, then the psychic brunch on Sunday.
Update, checked the tour schedule, they allready played near mom. How did I miss that? Off to class this morning.
