I tried to tape the race but…
I got home, hit rewind and play and it was the afternoon news not the Nascar race. I taped the wrong channel. I got one of those new TV converter boxes and the VCR doesn’t tape from that signal. I forgot yesterday and didn’t turn the box off and needless to say I am a bit disappointed. No race watching for me this week. Congrats to Carl Edwards on the win.
I did have a great time at the race track on Sunday afternoon: it was a 200 lap endurance race, a bus race, boat races and then the much anticipated demolition derby. I was a beautiful afternoon, the weather was great, the stands packed and the crowd had a blast. The drivers sure had a lot of fun, boats wrecked, the school bus ended up on its side and the cars were completely wrecked as the derby got finished. It was a whole lot of fun, glad I got a nap and got down to see all the fun.
It’s a chilly morning, a great time to wear the new outfit I bought on Saturday. New hair, new dress and a giggle or two about the tantrum look to be in order for a Monday.
