I was snoozing through the Martinsville race yesterday.
I love watching the race at home on the television: I just need to stop slouching down in the chair or the couch. It is getting to be an annoying habit. I was watching the race after a nice class in yoga, a bit of shopping and was all set. I slid down on the pillows, got wrapped up in a blanket and was in and out for the race. This is not good, I have the whole race on tape, this is turning into a Monday night project to finish watching the race. Hum….
I did notice that Scott Speed managed to bring his car home without damage during his first cup race. That is quite a feat especially on a short track like Martinsville. As I was nodding in and out, as I was watching Chad and Jimmy ran up front and watched as they managed to take the checkers. It’s the in between I am missing. Again it will be a Monday night re-watch for me. I woke up a couple of times when the scanner was buzzing with conversations.
It’s off to work shortly. It is a full week this week and then next week it’s up to Texas Motor Speedway for the long race weekend. I am getting excited, I love going to the track.
