Charts, Curtains, cleaning, painting and a race.

I have lots to say, but not a lot to post the last few days.
Sometimes I just can’t share all with the world what I am thinking. I am feeling a bit better about a situation at work: gee I wasn’t the only one that noticed. Seems there is a lot going on that I wasn’t being told about, its happening behind the scene. It was a quite couple of days and I managed to get a milk shake delivered to my desk on Friday afternoon as I piled through paperwork. It ruined my appetite for Friday night: I opted for fruits instead of dinner after the park.
I was doing the Saturday morning chores: laundry, sweeping, wiping down and putting the shoes back in the rack when I finally realized it was time to paint the temporary kitchen counter. I had put a second one in when I found some cabinets a few months back. I kept thinking I would get around to getting the kitchen cabinets and counters bought and installed, but I need to save a bit more money to get what I want. I grabbed the pain bucket and the first one had gone bad. I grabbed a second one and now I have matching Cartier purple counters. It looks pretty good, adds a bit of color and I don’t have to worry about spilling and drips for a bit longer. Someday I will have my dream kitchen, but not yet.
I met up with Kramer yesterday http://astrofish.net/. He was in Austin with his girl; she had an appointment so I took the opportunity to take some of his time. It looks like the tough stuff has passed in my astrology chart, but a bit more coming shortly. One or two obstacles ahead, but sometimes being aware is easier to plan for and react to. I don’t plan my life around the stars or charts, but I do think there is something to it. He said there is a long term boy in my future: l forgot to ask him about 2 legs or 4. My long term brown eyed Sagittarius turned out to be Saba seven years ago. I still think Saba was the best bet: the men I had been dating around that time weren’t as loyal, were high maintenance and didn’t have jobs. Saba is loyal, he is high energy, but I know it’s only the cost of food, vet care and travel. Sometimes I find it good to have a 3rd party to listen to me whine: he can put a different perspective on my concerns.
I headed out to the discount store: I was looking at some curtains last time I was there. The ones I looked at were still there and I went ahead and spent $10.00 on the pair. I hesitated last time, I am not a stripes girl but these have all the colors in my bedroom. I got home and hung them up. They look nice, keep the light out, but I think it may take me a day or a week to decide if they will stay.
I headed out to the local track last night, but made a detour to the outlet mall. I guess it was a shopping day for me. I managed to find a couple of pairs of pants. One pair is for work and the other pair is for weekends. I got some other items but there weren’t a lot of deals for me this week. I got to the track just in time for the opening ceremony. I had a seat waiting for me….
