Changes: lots coming soon!
03/30/2008

Social Life yup, home life yup. Work, who knows?

I came home from my yoga class to find my temporary roommate gone. He headed back to NYC and his “real life”. I have known B for a long time now and he is such a nice house guest. It was the longest time he has stayed in Austin: 8 weeks this time. Thanks to his rent, we have the new lap top. It feels a bit quite having the house back to myself, but it is nice to get my office back.

I have been trying to get out a bit more and to look around for someone to date. I would like a man around day to day, I am ready, it’s now on my “to do list”. I am still just looking, seeing who’s out there, but I am making an effort to look.

I have racing coming up this weekend: I was doing laundry, thinking about what to take with me. I am going to the grocery store Monday night, but that will be mostly stocking up for the races. I leave on Thursday morning heading up in time for practice.

I need to figure out what the deal is with work: my next few moves will depend on what happens there. If I change jobs, I think I will get a real roommate; it will help. If I don’t change jobs, there are a few things I would like to straighten out.

I saw my friend the other day, the one with the new baby. I was riding the bus home and I saw the whole new family out for a walk: mom, dad, baby and dog. I hopped off the bus and ran down the street to meet this newest member of the neighborhood. She is so sweet, she is bonding with her new mom & dad they are all adjusting well to the changes.

It made me realize as always, there is a whole big world out there, sometimes I just forget and get caught up in my own little world.
