Dwarfs, Trucks and David Starr
08/22/2004

Yup, Thunder Hill Raceway last night.

I kept watching the weather, it was storming to the west, it was storming to the north but the track ended up staying dry. I headed down and met up with C. and her son. We had a fun night, lots of cars, lots of great racing and we were on our feet for the truck finish.

David Starr was at the track last night, he is a Texas boy that races in NASCAR trucks. He is just so nice, he was signing and signing autographs. He missed most of the dwarf car race, there was a line of fans still waiting. He would look over his sholder every once in a while when the crowd went crazy. It was a good dwarf car race.

I stopped by the computer shop about the laptop yesterday. The replacement screen was bad, they ordered another one so I am just waiting on the shipping. I didn't realize how much I depend on my little computer each day. I managed to get to my Yoga class, I haven't been in a week, I am just not feeling that great. I am not sure if it is a summer cold or the mold and pollen.

I am heading off early on Monday to work. I got a jurry summons for criminal court. That sounds like a great fit hugh? Me on a criminal trial? What were they thinking? I have to head to the court for 2:00 and see if I get selected for the trial. I bet the defense team will want me. I hope I don't get selected, as a temp. employee, I will not get paid if I have to serve.

Heading off for Sunday stuff. I am going to skip the lake trip this morning, the weather is just a bit to stormy for me to chance it. I was also thinking last night, this is the week I usually don't drive. A few too many accidents all on the 20th to the 24th of August.
