A little rainbow, eggplant parmesan and singer songwriters.

I headed out after work with Saba, we went over to the leash free dog park and had a good romp. Saba sat on the shore as I hopped into the river, it was a refreshing little dip and I noticed part of a rainbow in the clouds. Strange, you could see it from the water but when I got back on shore, couldn’t see hardly any of it.
We have been going to this little park for quite a while now, there are a few folks I see there on a regular basis. For some reason they were all chitty chatty last night. Don’t know the reason but it was a nice diversion. We stayed at the park for a little over an hour. Saba was running and playing with all the dogs, big and small. He just loves this park.
I headed back to the house and got changed and headed out for dinner with Cranky. We went down to a little Italian place for dinner. The eggplant was the special of the evening but we had to sit through the singer songwriter sets. A couple of the guys were good, some were just nasty and we ran out the door once we got the bill. The only interesting part of this was the performers were getting more attractive and they progressed thru the lineup. I joked with Cranky, I should head back down around midnight, there would be someone gorgeous on stage by then!
I didn’t bother, I stayed home and got the nails painted. I guess I wore Saba out at the park, he couldn’t stay awake, he kept napping and then just gave up on me and headed to bed. He was sound asleep by the time I tried to get under the covers. I had to fight with him to get a little space in my bed.
