Midweek already. I can’t wait to watch racing tonight on the Speed channel.

Ok so I figured out why Robby Gordon faded back on the last restart, they took only gas and go and skipped the tires trying to get track position. Don’t think I agree with that call but hey, he got a top 10 finish. It is a road course this weekend so he should make some points and be in the top of the pack.
Not much news from here. I went out for dinner with Kramer on Monday night. He is such a pal! He listened to me bitch about men, bitch about work and bitch about life. It has been a rough couple of days in my world. If one more person cancels plans with me this week, I am going to loose it! I keep having to go to the Handspring and cancel off things. I am going to attribute it to the heat of the summer. We are in the 100’s for this week and some of next. No rain in site. I think the brain just gets a little fried with the heat. It can’t be me can it?
I went to Yoga last night, I ended up in my own little world and didn’t re-connect to the big world until this morning. No phones, no TV and no computer last night. I just grabbed a book and drifted off to a blissful sleep. I did get up early in the morning, Saba was letting me know something was up.
As I sat on the front porch, one of my neighbors was out for his late evening walk, about 2 a.m. (he is a musician). As we were chatting over the fence, the local police officer slowed way down to take a look at him. He just waived as they passed. I guess he gets stopped quite often walking that late at night, he is just getting off from work and doing his exercise routine. Funny thing was it was National Night Out, where you are suppose to meet you neighbors, sit on your porch and get to know each other. I guess we were doing that, just South Austin style.
