Nemo and racing
06/16/2003

I had a quiet weekend here in South Austin. I managed to see the new Pixar film and headed down to Thunderhill Raceway for the Saturday night short track action.

I enjoyed the movie, the animation was fantastic but it lacked a catchy theme song. I don’t know how much they will make on merchandising for this little movie. It was a good couple of hours of relaxation.

I headed home and took a nap then headed down to the track. I wanted to see the legends cars and the dwarfs. There were quite a few drivers that made the trip down to race in Kyle. I like those little cars, they seem like they would be a lot of fund to drive. If I ever advance from go-carts, I think they will be next. I heard a rumor you can rent them for a weekend. There was a lot of good fun racing and a little confrontation during the last race of the night. They didn’t open the pits before I left, it seems tempers were flaring. I just headed home instead of waiting it out.

Spent most of Sunday watching racing on TV. Nascar and F1. Not a bad way to spend a quite weekend.
