Lots of bikers in town.

I headed down to Congress Ave after a lovely dinner with Tim B. last night. We got some work done on the JournalCon website then headed off for the fun and games.
Tim gave me a ride downtown, there was no way I was going to try to park last night, there were just way to many people downtown. I headed off down the road meandering towards the ATM and the biker rally. I snagged some cash and was on my way. There were bikes lined up from the river to the capitol. Every imaginable configuration. There were stock bikes, street bikes, customs, low riders and everything in between.
They had part of the street blocked off for vendors, music and beer sales. There were lots of people just mixing and mingling. It was a great people watching experience. I met up with a couple of bikers and shared general chit chat. It was fun to see all the groups get together and just have a good time. I wondered down 6th street and meandered back to the music. The site of so many bikes was just overwhelming. I watched Patrice Pike and her band and just couldn’t wait around for the headliner. They kept billing it as “Bad Company” but it was only the lead singer and some very young musicians. The set change took over 40 minuets and I just got board. I caught a cab back to the casa and settled in for the night. I have to work this weekend so no late nights. It is the end of the month and the first of the month. Lots of move ins and move outs.
Update on Ms. Retha’s house. They just started the bulldozer again this morning. It just will not come down. It has been 3 days and the equipment keeps breaking and the house is sturdier then they thought. I think Ms. Retha is just pissed and is making there work as hard as possible. I wonder if the new houses will have ghosts?
