Big ouch this weekend.

I woke up Friday morning in pain. I have had back problems on and off since a car wreck in Arkansas. Sometime last week things just got out of whack. I made a call to the doc before 8:00 a.m. on Friday. I stopped off to see her mid day and felt a little better.
I spent most of the weekend in bed. That sounds great but I was by myself. No company wanted. It is painful when my back goes out. All I want is sleep, heat or ice and a good book. The good thing about living in a city is you can get food delivered. I didn’t make the bosses concert Friday night, I just curled up with Saba and tried to get some sleep.
Saturday I spent most of the day sleeping. I did go over to the office to meet the accountant. I had made a bad entry on Thursday and didn’t want to just reverse it with out getting all the parts fixed. The computer program I work on will automatically update 3-4 entries when you post. To fix it you have to reverse them all.
I managed to watch the Bush race Saturday afternoon. Scott Riggs won the race in the Nesquik bunny car. He was racing in second place most of the race. Mike Bliss was leading the race and decided not to pit under caution. He ran out of fuel with less than a lap to go. Boy was he mad he tired to “shake“ the car to get the last bit of fuel in the car but no luck. Mike Bliss ended up 12th.. Stacy Compton was in the lead pack until the last couple of laps. All of a sudden his engine started to misfire. Compton ended up 6th.
Sunday I met up with T and her son and daughter. We had a nice breakfast but they drove. Did I mention my foot trembles sometimes when my back goes out? It is not a good idea to drive when that happens. I came home from breakfast and went back to bed. A few hours later P. calls and we head over to Barton Springs, he drove. I figured the cold water would do wonders for my back. It usually helps but not yesterday. I came home and put the heating pad on. My foot did stop trembling so I managed to get out for dinner with Cranky last night. Again after we went out, back into bed, TV and sleep.
I have an early morning appointment with the doctor again this morning. I hope to be fixed back up in a day or two. I find it hard to be limited. It is frustrating not to be able to do the things you want. I learned patience when I was in that wreck. 8 months to get back on my feet. Do you know how hard it is to tie your shoes when you back is out?
