How on earth do you forget to put the lug nuts on?
Robby Gordon lost a wheel during the race on lap 14. There is no excuse for this one in my mind. Chris Andrews and the team have a bit of explaining to do. NASCAR tech has some explaining to do also.

Robby Gordon nails 5th for the Cup qualifying and Brandon Miller nails 5th for the Busch car
It’s a great start to the weekend. I was hoping they would do well this week, but it looks great. Me, I am a bit tired, but managed to get almost a full week of work in.

I got some great news last night. I am started full time with the local police department yesterday. I don’t know how this all happened, I don’t know how the funding got approved but I am going with the flow.

Big city = Small town
Sometimes I think Austin is just an overgrown small town. I was doing a bit of research yesterday and had an answer to my all questions in a little over 5 hours. It helps to know who to ask.

Lap 347 @ Dover and 19 cars are out of the race.
Mark Martin gets his first win in 2 years, Robby ends up 14th in a horrid car, Dale Jarrett ends the day in eleventh and Scott Riggs the rookie ends up 5th. This was not how the day was expected to end. How did it happen?
