Rockingham red flagged, flight red flagged.
Sunday was a bit challenging. I headed to the airport to find the flight delayed, something happened to the plane in Vegas. We got into Dallas, they had held the flight to Austin, a large group of us had the connecting flight. We boarded the plane then the captain let us know there was something wrong.

Spent part of the day back at the musuem, they had the hot rod corvetts come out and play. B. and a I had a lovley dinner on the patio with his folks and then a bunch of friends arrived to play music.

What a nite it was!
All dressed up, tux for B. and a gown for me. We ended up taking a little shuttle bus to the event, not a lot of parking options. We arrive at the lot and I think we are a bit overdressed, but when we arrive at the musuem that all changes.

Midland TX
I am sitting on the porch of my frined B.'s house, watching the water garden playing with his dog and just enjoying a beautiful morning. We are meeting up for lunch and then off to the musuem for a tour and the big gala this evening. B. had to work today so I am doing some exploring on my own. Good news, he has a digital camera so we should have some photos from the event!

It turned out to be a 5th place finish when the results became official yesterday.
That leaves Robby Gordon 5th in points, 71 points behind the leader in the Busch series. I am a bit disappointed; I was hoping to keep the 3rd place finish.

Is Robby Gordon 3rd or 5th? Nashville Busch Race.
Robby was in 4th place and blew a tire, the caution flag fell due to debris and the team waited to pit with rest of the field. The restart, single file with less than 10 laps to go and then all hell broke loose.

Brothers bag made the right flight and I got Robby’s autograph yesterday.
I saw the bag in the claim area, so he did make it on time to the airport but the screening equipment went on the fritz yesterday all the passengers got delayed. I still made him pay for parking. We made it to the track for Busch qualifying, I managed to return the scanner charger from Phoenix last year and pick up a new one for the weekend.

04/14/04 Ugh, I am ready to kill my brother.
I started out at 6:30 am to get to the airport to meet him in Dallas to get to the races on time. I arrive at 11:05 to find out he missed his flight! Practice starts in 1 hour and he will not be in for an hour and a half. I am so pissed, I am thinking of just leaving him at the airport.
