I am waiting on an announcement from NASCAR about hand signals in the pits. I saw rumors and a press was conferences scheduled, but haven’t seen what they are yet. They will be for pitting out of the box, too many men over the wall, equipment left on pit road etc.

Points changes:
After watching the press conference and the Q&A session I gather the changes are as follows. The race winner will get an additional 5 points for winning the race starting at Daytona and continuing throughout the season. This sounds good to me. Next will be the “adjustment” of points for the drivers within 400 points of the leader. This is where I think the confusion comes in.

Job search still going strong, lots of fingerprints and Dad out of hospital.
Good news on Dad, he is home. They think they found the problem, it is manageable so that is great news. I have been heavily in the work search mode, a few bites nothing concrete yet. Glad I took the temp position, it is keeping me occupied and I got my first check on Friday.

I found Robby, Testing underway and a new points system.
Robby was slotted for the second round of testing at Daytona. It was based on owner points, odd and even dates. I saw a clip of him on the Speed channel last night, my heart be stilled. He is looking good. Jeff Gordon has a massive haircut.

Daytona testing started yesterday the 6th of January and Robby was slated to test. His website lists him on the 6th test date but I can’t find any speeds, any results or any news. HUM.. Where is that boy?

I am getting used to the new routine. The new job is going terrific, the new roommate is working out and the shopping trip was successful.
I managed to get to the outlet malls early on New Years Eve. I snagged a bunch of new shoes, a bunch of new slacks and some blouses that match. I feel like a grown up now, having to dress for work. It is a nice change though, I feel a little more professional.
