Shoot the programmer.
11/21/2008

I hate one database program I have to use at work,

It is a bad design, not user friendly and I can’t get the darn program to work right. It is so flawed it is going to have to be replaced. I have been tasked to do a job, I keep running into roadblocks and I am getting extremely frustrated with the whole project. I got supervisor involved yesterday, asked her to come to a meeting on Wednesday next week. I have to deliver bad news again and I want a bit of backup. I am stuck in the middle of a bureaucratic tangle.

I learned about flies at work yesterday. It was rather neat, sort of disgusting, but interesting. They sure are scavengers. It can cause some confusion with an investigation. I had to refer to an entomology site to figure it out. I’ll stop there.

I headed out to dinner instead of yoga last night. The cold front that moved in has my ear revolting. It’s a pressure change issue. I know IT is rather confusing, I will try to keep the whining at a minimum, but it has been a frustrating week. I think tonight I will just come home, bundle up and watch TV.

That would be too much work..

I found out the program is on the replacement fast track, they even asked for my suggestions on how to fix it.

proprietary db? the trouble with shooting the coder is having to dig a hole in the ground or drive to the river or lake.

i'm going to have to check out thunder hill sometime.

Jon and I are thinking about a first time visit to dega in 09.

i hate this cold front!!!!
