An oil change and vacation fish food.
I think I am almost ready for the adventures next week.
I managed to book a room not far from Dad’s place for a couple of nights on the way back. I called and double checked their pet policy; I have had problems with that chain of hotels before: not all places take all sized pets. We got turned away from a couple on the road before. The inn keepers said Saba was to large. I am still mad about that one.
Now all I need to do is figure out where we are going to stay along the way. I guess I will leave that up to the universe. I don’t know how far I can drive each day, I was a hassle last time. I booked ahead in AL, I was tired by the end of the FL panhandle but kept going for another couple of hours to make the reservation. I hope there is more options post Katrina this time than the last time we were headed out that way.
One week of work left for the year and then it’s off for a while on a road trip.
