Congrats to them both, it was nice to see them take the win.
The last race of the Nascar season is Sunday afternoon. I will be glued to the TV watching, wondering who will win, who will fall back and who takes home the title. Looks like Chad will be able to put championship team on his racing resume. There is some scrapping going on in the back for the top 35 in owner points. The top 35 get a free pass into the Daytona race and the first few races of the season.
I was surfing my journal this morning, going back through the year. I was wondering how come I feel so frustrated with my life sometimes. I did notice there is a pattern here: I love racing, work was a challenge until I changed positions. I have been working on the barn/house project for over a year now. My love life is non existent: I have been on 2 dates all year. Gack, that’s pretty bad, even for me. I think I need to work on that.
Hopefully I will be able to get the house done shortly. I have a couple of projects to do today. The next inspections should be late this week or early next week. Once I can get through that, get the green tag, and then the sheet rock and tile go in. The electric and gas should get hooked up and then it will be moving day. I am so tired of thinking about this; I am tired of working on it. I can’t wait to get this project over with. It’s been over a year, financing, planning and working and cleaning up and getting it done. Shortly I will be able to have my weekends back. Soon I will be able to grab my coffee and head out on the porch and just relax for a change.
