Cat protective services is going to be looking for me.

After a long day at the office, a trip to the grocery store I land a home. I had stopped home to let the critters out, grab the mail and headed off to dinner and shopping with Cranky. I didn’t see Sid during my stop, but that happens some times, he seems to have his own secret cat life.
I arrive home, let Saba out, and unload the groceries from the car. The whole time the door is cracked open, I am going in and out waiting for Sid to show up for dinner. I put up the groceries, ask Saba where his brother is. I tell him to go find him, it’s getting cold. Sid is no where to be found. I finish putting stuff up and start making some food for today’s adventure at work. Still no Sid. I tell Saba to go find the kitty, getting a bit frustrated and wondering where the mysterious cat got off to.
Much to my surprise, there is a thunk in bedroom closet. Oh no, Saba is standing by the door and I begin to realize what I had done. I open the door and there is Sid, mad as all get out at me. He has been locked in the closet all day! Yup, I must have kicked it shut on my way out the door in the morning not realizing he was in there. Poor critter is making all sorts of noise, glairing at me and I can’t blame him. I scooped him up and tried to apologize to him, but he is awfully mad at me. He stop’s at the water bowl, then the food bowl and heads out the door. About an hour later he is waiting to come in and still is talking up a storm.
Yah, I locked my critter in the closet all day long. I have read news stories about people like that. I have seen reports about people like that, now I am one of them. Gack, I don’t know if I should laugh or cry, but I defiantly abused my critter yesterday.
