No ma’am, I don’t have any insurance information;
12/21/2004
I sorry, ma’am, the car was burned in the crash on the highway; they were trying to get the driver out and clear the roadway. I suggest you contact your own insurance company.
I am sorry you are so upset, the report indicates they couldn’t find the insurance card because of the fire. Just one part of my day yesterday, it was like that all day long. I don’t know if I just lost my patience yesterday or it was just the folks I had to deal with all day long.
No sir, I am not sure if the protective order against you got lifted. I would suggest you call the family violence unit, they would be able to tell you that quicker than I can. (He had over 50 involvements with the PD). I didn’t have time yesterday to look through all of them.
No ma’am, I can’t change reports. I understand your son told you he wasn’t at fault for the accident, but the report I am reading indicates he was found at fault. If you would like, I can give you the officer’s telephone number. He is the only one that can change a report, it is an official document.
“Report Sales, this is Devota”, This is XXX from Internal Affairs… my heart skips a beat.. I need some information… my palms start sweating…. I can’t find a report. Woo, that I can handle. “Do you have a case number?” Yes, I think it is xx… “Ok, give me just one second… do you mind holding?” “I found it, it is in the transcription que, I can have out for you in a few minuets, I just need to call upstairs.” Thanks Devota, I appreciate the help, they told me you were the ace on finding reports.
Nice to know, but the call scared the hell out of me. I don’t ever want one of those calls involving me.
I ran out of the building yesterday after my shift, I ended up out to dinner with Cranky. We had comfort food last night: Tex-Mex.
