Lots of bumping and banging short track style
07/24/2003

I managed to watch parts of the rebroadcast of the race from New Hampshire last night. I was busy catching up on laundry and other stuff.

Tempers were flaring and there was lots of paint traded. Lap after lap there were drivers giving each other a “gentle” tap. Tire marks on the doors, paint on the bumpers and a few finger salutes going on. I wonder why we are not hearing from Jeff Gordon about the gentlemen’s agreement. He didn’t hold up his end of an agreement Sunday. HUM nothing from Jeff I can find in the news.. Wasn’t he the loudest winner back at Sonoma? What happened to Rusty Wallace? He is always so dependable and never races dirty. I guess the short track just got the better of his temper.
