Short track racing
03/24/2003

Spent a lovely afternoon in the comfy chair watching the race yesterday. I don’t think there was a single car that didn’t have damage by the end of the day.

Kurt Bush ran away with the race. He drove well all day long. The green flag pit stops halfway thru and then the caution flag fell. It changed the outcome of the race big time. Some of the drivers just got caught up in thinking there wouldn’t be another caution. It was Bristol, come on guys there are always tons of cautions. Dale Jr. ended up 16th after running out of fuel, Mark Martin ended up 29th and Dale Jarrett ended up 36th after a couple of hard crashes. I haven’t seen an update on Kyle Petty, he hit the wall hard on the drivers side and was transported to the hospital. I hope he is OK.

I am getting excited about my trip to Texas Motor Speedway. I leave on Wednesday evening. I am so excited. I have started packing. I have supplies stocked up on. Coffee, creamer, and a case of water. I will pick the beer up before I leave for the drive. Budweiser I think should be the drink of the weekend.

Miller or Miller Lite would be better - or best would be Lone Star tallboys. Ft. Worth is a Miller Town.
